I saw this “Grocery Star Wars” animation a long time ago and enjoyed it, and just ran across it again a few days ago. It’s a cute parody of Star Wars made to alert people to some of the serious problems in food production today – overuse of chemicals, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), and the fact that big corporation interests are controling the food chain.
It’s a myth GMO foods are safe!
Getting to know a local farmer and buying food locally there or at a Farmer’s Market is a step in the right direction. Or look for food grown organically. Stay away from pretend food as much as possible and load up on fresh foods!
Just be aware of what you’re eating!
